Work Experience

  • From May, 2016 until September, 2016, I worked at Lowe's Companies, Inc. as a Loader / Seasonal Sales Associate. During that time, my primary responsibilities were spotting for heavy equipment operators, finding customers what they needed and helping them load it into their cars, and helping managers clean and organize their work areas. As a result, I learned several transferable skills that should help me in my future career such as how to handle customer complaints, how to adapt to multiple forms of training, and how to communicate effectively. Ultimately, I think my work ehtic and efficiency is what seperated me from my fellow colleagues and allowed me / will allow me to progress as an employee.
  • I have worked at the Mile Away Restaurant And Tented Venue since May, 2015, minus my stint at Lowe's Companies, Inc., as a Busser / Cashier. During this time, my primary responsibilities have been setting up / closing the restaurant, handling customer requests, bussing tables, and working large events. As a result, I have gained several transferable skills that will help me in my future careers such as working in a team, calculating transactions accurately and efficiently, and managing several employees and tasks (i.e. multitasking).
